1. Pre-treatment Keratin Shampoo
The Pre-treatment Keratin Shampoo, rich in Keratin, effectively cleanses the scalp and allows the hair follicles and pores to breathe and absorb all the goodness and nutrients for better strength. This helps reduce split ends by bonding the hair back together.
2. Keratin Treatment O+ Hydrating Conditioner
With no sodium chloride, the hydrating conditioner helps detangle the hair while simultaneously making it softer. It nourishes the scalp, increases blood circulation, and boosts hair growth. The Pentanol acts as a protective barrier that prevents loss of moisture and increases elasticity which helps to reduce hair loss and is closer to straightening hair.
3. After Keratin Regenerative Hair Mask
Created with the highest concentration of active Amino acids and Keratin, the regenerative hair mask is formulated to stimulate the hair follicles and promote hair growth to its fullest. The Dos And Don’ts
To ensure the best results, the treatment can be used once in two or three weeks. However, if you travel a lot and are often exposed to pollution or experience excessive hair loss, it is recommended to use the treatment once every week. With regular use, the treatment combination of Keratin, Pentanol, and Murumuru Oil will smoothen and straighten the hair, adding volume and luster. Each product in the kit has a unique function and effectively works to treat your hair. Although you can use the shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask separately, we recommend using them together for accurate results.
Steps To Follow:
Step 1 – Start by washing the hair with the PURC Keratin shampoo to get rid of the accumulated dirt. This also enables the hair follicles to absorb keratin molecules.
Step 2 – Gently towel dry the hair by patting and then dry with a blow dryer at the lowest heating temperature.
Step 3 – Next, part your hair into four sections.
Step 4 – Wear a pair of gloves and use the hand to spread the PURC Straightening Treatment onto the scalp. To distribute the treatment evenly, use a wide-toothed comb.
Step 5 – For fine hair, use a flat iron set between 300–400-degree Fahrenheit. In case of thicker hair, set the temperature at around 450-degree Fahrenheit.
Step 6 – Take an inch of your hair and use a flat iron to straighten the hair. Continue to repeat the process until the entire length of your hair is smoothed out.
Step 7 – Lastly, use the After Keratin Regenerative Hair Mask to hydrate the scalp and hair. This will give the best results.
Precautions To Be Taken
- The treatment is not recommended for women who are trying to conceive or are pregnant.
- The treatment requires the hair to be washed infrequently (2-3 times in a week at the most), which helps the treatment provide longer-lasting results.
- If you like to use heat styling products like straighteners and blow dryers, it is recommended not to use them as the hair dries much faster with the Keratin treatment. Air drying works best with the treatment, and this further helps restore the health and strength of your hair.
- Studies show that it is best to stay away from chlorinated/saltwater as it reduces the efforts of the Keratin treatment.
